The Charles Pinckney National Historic Site contains 26 acres of Snee Farm, Pinckney's 715-acre plantation. While Pinckney's original residence is long-gone, the site remains to commemorate the man who not only fought in the Revolutionary War but also helped author the Constitution and served as the Governor of South Carolina. An early-19th century farmhouse serves as the visitor center, offering exhibits related to the man and the events of the late 18th century. A short walking trail leads through the site and overlooks the location where Pinckney's home once stood. It is situated just south of Palmetto Island County Park, near Snee Farm Country Club.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
